# Independent transfer — notification delivery

A POST command asks an external provider to send a notification. The connection fails after the provider may have accepted the message. Define a new domain meaning and public code, choose HTTP semantics, decide automatic retry, and state what evidence/contract would be needed before retry could become safe. Do not copy payment-specific codes.
