This is a synthetic local Git repository. Work read-only. No network, credentials, production data, or external repository is required.

## Bounded question
Identify the repository/workspace boundary, runtime registration for `coupon.apply`, the wired implementation candidate, test-discovery evidence, at least one rejected/uncertain cue, and explicit unknowns.

## Allowed instruments
Use local file reading, `git ls-files`, `git grep`, and any local text editor/search tool. Tool choice is not graded; the evidence trace is.

## Deliverable
